Remember Mr. Hillson,
the guy who "accidentally" shot his wife twice while "cleaning" his handgun a few months ago? I had a lot of trouble believing his story. It required a self-professed experienced firearms handler to break every damn safety rule there is, a physical malfunction unlikely in the extreme (particularly since he had just cleaned the gun and should have noted any such defect), a nonstandard loading technique, the dumb bad luck that the gun happened to be pointed at his wife through a wall, and the truly remarkable chance that a loosely held handgun would stay on the same target for two shots despite recoil. And then there was that little issue that his
twice-wounded wife is the one who had to call 911; not him. I just didn't buy it.
Neither did a grand jury. Looks like Faux just regurgitated the
AP report. I'll try to keep an eye on this story.
